Hi Anne ! So tell me are you applying foundation to your under eye area…. then the concealer in the areas needed as you mentioned ?

    • AnneP makeupandmore says:

I’m only applying concealer under my eyes. With *some* foundations I can apply them under my eyes. But most I can’t because it’s either not enough coverage or emphasizes my wrinkles. When applying a concealer only use it where you need it. And use very little, blend well.

Just recently found your videos and have been binge watching and sharing with my BFF. Thank you so much for sharing all your tips and thoughts! I have a bad problem with flaky lips. I have ever found a lipstick that doesn’t leave my lips dry and flaky. Do you have any suggestions for this? I know you recommend using a lip liner but isn’t that more drying than lipstick? I constantly use a lip balm but then my color doesn’t stay so I usually end up with no lip color. Thanks for everything.

    • AnneP makeupandmore says:

Hi Katherine have you tried a lip scrub or a lip mask? You have to be careful with dry lips as you don’t want to over exfoliate. The cheapest way to exfoliate your lips is to use a little sugar, honey and a pinch of olive oil. Try using a scrub once a week. I wonder if your current lip stick or balm is drying out your lips? I had that happen to me many years ago. I never had dry lips until I used a new lipstick. It was awful nothing would help but I continued using what was drying them out. I wonder if there’s something in the lipstick that’s making that happen? I would look at the ingredients and see if there’s a connection.
